This emblematic development represents the culmination of the modernisation of the seafront of Roses and more, as it keeps Roses at the forefront of the touristic choice of the Costa Brava.

The new Roses Leisure Marina will provide services to approximately 485 boats, with roughly 374 fixed moorings and the rest for moorings for passing boats.

The Marina’s perfect integration into the urban area, its modern services and installations along with the traditional tourist attractions available in Roses will convert any stay in PORT ROSES in a pleasure for marinesport lovers everywhere.

The municiple company PORT DE ROSES, SA will manage the building and commercialisation of this development, putting the emphasis on carrying out the approved environment-friendly programme which will in turn guarnatee quality services for the future users.

The Leisure Marina of Roses will be located to the north of the Fishing Port, with the Port entrance facing south. It will be completely integrated into the urban area of the town.

The Port entrance will be nearly 70 metres wide and will be 9 metres deep. The minimum depth inside the Marina itself will be 3.5 metres.

PORT ROSES will offer approximately 700 moorings, from 6 metres up to 45 metres in length.

The Bay of Roses is a priviliged area for the practise of marine sports and particularly for sailing. Among the various marine services provided in PORT ROSES, will be the Roses Sailing Club.

This complex will be managed by GEN (Grup d’Esports Nàutics)(Marine Sports Group) which has concentrated its activity over the last 25 years on developing and promoting sailing and other marine sports, providing training ang qualified personnel.

The location of the Marina within the urban area will facilitate the enjoyment of the town´s many other services including restaurants, shops, aswell as other services dedicated to the nautic sector: maintenance and repairs, travelift (in the fishing port)...
